Actually fast charges my phone unlike others that say they do. – I have tried almost all the other so called “fast chargers” for my Samsung S9+ and they do not fast charge my phone. I have one of these that I purchased from Verizon for a good markup $$ and it actually fast charges my phone, I can tell by going to the battery screen or scrolling down where my notifications would be (it says fast charging). I attempted to get several other off brand ones for plenty of $$ as well that claim they fast charge but they do not! I ordered this one and it’s just like the one I got from Verizon but for about half the cost and it fast charges my phone, so nice! From almost dead to full charge in about 45 minutes while I’m driving. Also if I am navigating using google maps it will still fast charge and be at 100% usually by the time I get to where I was going, it seems like all other chargers out there when navigating will keep the battery percentage steady but not charge, arg! This one works and works well, I highly recommend if you have a Samsung phone! Will probably work on other phones that have fast charging as well but I have not tried, wouldn’t be tough to try because it has 2 usb ports and from what I read they will both fast charge at the same time, how awesome!

Appears Legit – I’ve just received two of these, new, from one seller (Best Products Prime), early Oct. 2021. From this seller anyway, I got sealed retail packaging, as described. Both retail boxes were a bit shop-worn, but appear to be 100% genuine, made in China, Samsung chargers, complete with the two cables (white USB-C & black micro-USB), with no sign of prior opening and resealing, etc. From back of package, one is Rev 1.3, copyright 2018, the other is Rev 1.2, Copyright 2017. The fine print on the charger itself says 11-30 Volt DC, with output of 2.0 amps at 5V, or 1.67 amps at 9V – just as expected for a Samsung “Adaptive Fast Charging” charger. The chargers are “one piece”, as people report for genuine Samsung vehicle chargers; that is, the end does not screw off as it does with some Chinese knock-offs.

Be sure to use lower port for fast charge – Charges fast IF one uses the bottom USB Port on the charger. I received an error message when I used the upper USB port with my Samsung galaxy A52 phone. Also the charger does fit as securely as I would prefer in the charging socket.
